Admissions requirements

Applying to Fraser Valley India

See if you have what it takes to qualify for the pathway program leading to Canadian degrees.

English language requirements (all programs)

  • 65% or greater in English 12 or
  • IELTS (International English Language Testing System) – score of at least 6.5 with no band less than 6
  • TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) – score of at least 570 (or 230 if computer-based score), plus a minimum TWE (essay) score of 4.0, or IBT score of 88 with no section below 20

Business Administration Program requirements (Leading to UFV’s BBA degree)

  1. Passing score in grade 10th Maths
  2. Meet English language requirement
  3. Average of 65% or greater across top five grade 12 courses (English should be one of the five courses)
  4. All new students must complete MATH 140 in order to continue in the program. To better prepare for Math courses, consider taking advantage of our no-charge Early Entry Program

 NOTES:

  • Any student below 65% (even 64.9%) does not qualify for admission.
  • Best of four classes will not be considered. For example, best of four without maths or best of four compartment cases.
  • Accuplacer will no longer be a mode of English Assessment.
  • There will be no conditional admissions into this program.
  • There will be no Business Diploma Admission.

Liberal Arts Program requirements (Leading to UFV’s BA degree)

  1. Passing score in grade 10th Maths
  2. Meet English language requirement
  3. Average of 60% or greater across top five grade 12 courses (English should be one of the five courses)

 NOTES:

  • Any student below 60% (even 59.9%) does not qualify for admission.
  • Best of four classes will not be considered. For example, best of four without maths or best of four compartment cases.
  • Accuplacer will no longer be a mode of English Assessment.
  • There will be no conditional admissions into this program.

Computer Information Systems Program requirements (Leading to UFV’s BCIS degree)

  1. Passing score in grade 10th Maths
  2. Meet English language requirement
  3. Average of 60% or greater across top five grade 12 courses (English should be one of the five courses)
  4. All new students must complete MATH 124 with a C or above grade in order to continue in the program. Students failing to get required grade will be removed from the program. To better prepare for Math courses, consider taking advantage of our no-charge Early Entry Program.
  5. Students in CIS programs must maintain semester and cumulative grade point averages of at least 2.0 (a C average) in order to be awarded a certificate, diploma, or degree. CIS and COMP courses used to satisfy UFV degree requirements in years three and four must be completed with a grade of C or higher in order to be counted for credit towards the UFV degree.

Global Masters Pathway requirements (Leading to UFV’s Management Post-Baccalaureate Certificate)

Students who plan to transfer to Canada:

  1. Meet English language requirement.
  2. Average of 60% or greater in a three-year or four-year bachelor’s degree program.

 NOTES:

  • Any student below 60% (even 59.9%) does not qualify for admission to University of Windsor.
  • Those students wishing to enroll in the Master of Management program at the University of Windsor will have to demonstrate English proficiency by meeting or exceeding a 7.0 score on the IELTS test or a TOEFL IBT score of 100 prior to acceptance into the program.

Students who do not plan to transfer to Canada:

  1. Meet English language requirement
  2. Average of 50% or greater in a three-year or four-year bachelor’s degree program

NOTES:

  • Any student below 50% (even 49.9%) does not qualify for MPBC admission.
  • Students under this category will not be eligible to enroll in the Master of Management program at the University of Windsor.
