Ms. Aseem Raj Kaur, Assistant Professor in the area of Computer Information System at Fraser Valley India, Chandigarh. She received her degree in Master of Computer Application from Maharishi Dayanand University, Rohtak. MSc. in Computer Science from Sikkim Manipal and Honours Diploma in Software Development and System Management from NIIT, Chandigarh.
Before joining the full-time position at the University of the Fraser Valley, Chandigarh, she has been a visiting faculty for six years. She also has been associated with one of the premier education institutes of Chandigarh, St. John’s High School for 15 years. A proactive, adaptable and creative teacher with more than 22 years of extensive experience in teaching. During her tenure, she has taught students of almost all age groups – Corporates, Professionals and School children up to class 12th.
Her teaching interests are Programming, Web Designing, Database Systems, System Analysis and Design, Computer User and Help Desk Support, Project Management. Her area of research concentrates on Computer-Human Interaction. She has been a key person in developing projects and customized software’s for different organizations. She has also been a resource person in organizing and conducting various Professional Development Workshops for faculty and students.
