Prof. Sushil Kumar presents paper at the Academy of Management Conference 2019

Prof. Sushil Kumar recently attended the annual conference organized by the Academy of Management (AoM). The annual conference was held during 9-13th August 2019 in Boston, Massachusetts USA. Scholars, academicians and industry participants from all over the globe were under the same roof making it a sea of knowledge, learning, and networking. Prof. Sushil refers to the meeting as the perfect place to network with experts for future research, knowledge advancement and career growth in the area of Management. Prof. Sushil was not just a participant at the conference but was one of the ambassadors of Strategic Management Division (STR).

Prof. Sushil presented his research paper titled “Integrated Framework of Strategic Orientation, Value Offerings and New Venture Performance” at this conference.  The research paper was aimed to investigate the impact of entrepreneurial and marketing orientation on the performance of new ventures in the competitive marketplace. The scholarly work was based on primary data and extensive analysis that concluded with the development of a new integrated framework in the field of strategic orientation and entrepreneurship. With comments from scholars and practitioners on his research paper, he aims to improve and publish this work in the reputed management journal.

His research interests include new venture creation, entrepreneurial orientation, competitive strategies, corporate strategy, competitive dynamics, and corporate social responsibilities.
